Hello September: Late Summer Meditation


September is bittersweet as summer slows down & we return to school. Whether you’re in school or not, you can sense returning to schedule & wrapping yourself around a great idea or finishing a project before the year’s end is needed now that you’ve soaked up the summer’s sun  & swam in the sea.

Below is a brief late Summer outdoor meditation you can try this Labor Day weekend to ease your transition into Fall.

Sit on a park bench, along a shoreline, or another spot in nature that feels good to you. Meditate on the energy you feel from the earth and what you notice in your body as we collectively move away from Summer’s longer days & fun filled nights into a more cerebral Fall.

How is what you felt from this meditation reflected in your daily life?

A daily practice of yoga, meditation, breath work, & a fitness routine will help you develop groundedness, a greater connection to what’s around you, & be in harmony in both mind & body with the changing seasons.
