Self Care During Difficult Times

We are living in a very difficult time that's ungrounded in many different ways. There's system changes, changes in freedom, loss of loved ones, grief, economic hardship, and chaos. Although it is an uncertain time that's breeding plenty of sadness and anger, it's also ushering in deep transformation. Change can be painful and at times elating. Are you noticing your emotions jumping from some days being high and others days being low? How are you dealing with the emotional highs and lows in others? Are you judging? Arguing?

When your emotions run high and low, your nervous system is asking to be rebalanced. Yoga practice is a wonderful way to ease your nervous system and ground yourself, so you can show up with clarity for yourself and then be present for others. If any of this resonates with you please consider providing yourself self care by way of a yoga practice. Turning inward with regularly scheduled yoga classes will reset your energy for the better. Yoga's positive mood balancing effect along with its many other healing benefits will naturally encourage you to continue practicing, so you can show up balanced to our unbalanced world.
