Remembrance Day at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center- Remembering the Pregnancy/Infant that Left Us

Sunday October 6th from 2pm-4pm at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in Englewood, New Jersey there is a very special event called Remembrance Day. Remembrance Day honors the memory of a miscarriage, a stillborn, the baby that did not stay with us. If you or someone you know needs a dose of healing and community regarding this topic please consider joining us this coming Sunday. The Remembrance Day event consists of music, art, meditation, sharing your experience if you wish and lighting a candle to memorialize your pregnancy/infant loss.

I will be leading the meditation and mudra making (hand yoga) portion of this event. I have been a part of this event for the past two years. Although I feel like I've accepted the loss of my last child, I find that when I'm at the Remembrance Day event and leave the event a great sense of love, understanding and another layer of healing moves through me.

If you can't make Sunday's event please know there are ongoing meetings at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center regarding pregnancy/infant loss.
